Finocket vs myBillBook — FAQ
Finocket now tracks stock in depth — opening balances, a running stock ledger with weighted-average valuation, low-stock alerts, batch and expiry tracking with near-expiry alerts, and multiple godowns with transfers. Sales draw stock down automatically. It doesn't yet let you pick a specific batch when billing, so if batch-wise sale is core to your shop, a dedicated biller is stronger there.
There's no automated myBillBook import. Most people start fresh in an afternoon: import your client list from a CSV, raise invoices from today forward, and keep the old app for historical reference.
The books are free for solo users in India. The CRM, outreach and partner scopes are in early access and free to use while we roll them out.
