Connect Finocket to the AI assistant you already use — Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity — and ask 'who owes me money?' or 'what's my GSTR-1 this month?' in plain language, with no API key and no developer. You approve the connection yourself, choose which single business it may reach, and see exactly what it can read before you allow it. Everything you can do in the app you can also do over a versioned REST API, and you can bring your own AI keys if you would rather. It's all modular and stored in Postgres with row-level security.

Connect the AI assistant you already use

Add Finocket as a connector in Claude, ChatGPT or Perplexity and ask your books questions in plain language — no API key, no developer, nothing to install. You sign in, pick which one of your businesses the assistant may reach, and see the full list of what it can read and change before you approve. It gets a deliberately narrow slice: it can read invoices, receivables, expenses, reports, GST summaries, stock and your pipeline, and draft an invoice or log an activity for you to review — and it can never move money, issue a refund, file a return, generate an e-invoice or read your saved portal passwords, because those are absent from the connected surface rather than switched off. One connection reaches one business and cannot be moved to another. Disconnect from Settings and it loses access on its very next request. What an assistant reads does travel to that provider's servers outside India, which the approval screen says plainly before you agree.

Every optional area is a switch in Settings — GST, CRM, forms, outreach, partners, marketplaces, the API. Your menus adapt instantly and your choice is saved to your account, with a transparent Available / Beta / Coming-soon ladder and per-tenant super-admin governance.

AI over your books (MCP) — 184 tools

An MCP server exposes 184 scope-enforced tools spanning books, GST, inventory, CRM, point of sale, assets, partners and reports — so AI agents can read receivables, GST returns, a client statement, a consolidated group report or a working-capital view, and write through the same posters the app uses, inside the company you point them at. Some capabilities are deliberately NOT exposed as tools and stay that way: approving a growth campaign (it would let one model approve another's outreach), changing the AI autonomy dial (an agent could widen its own blast radius), approving a GST-notice reply (it exists to evidence that a named human read it) and the personal-tax screens (there is no tax scope, and attaching them to a reports scope would silently widen every existing third-party key to your own income).

Bring your own AI keys

Add your own Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI or Google AI key at the company level for everyone, or a personal key just for you — stored encrypted and never shown again. Set no key and Finocket's included AI is used, metered against a free allowance of 50 assistant messages a day, 100 scans and 60 voice notes a month. Your own key lifts those caps, unlocks the larger model, and is metered separately so you can see what it costs.

Usage & activity monitoring

A Usage & activity screen shows your own recent actions and your whole workspace's activity — invoices created, payments recorded, AI actions and more — plus this month's AI cost, actions and tokens broken down by person and by feature.

An AI activity log with a reverse button

A separate log lists every action the assistant took: what it was, the money it moved, whether it wrote to the books, and the hash the database chained it with. It has no edit and no delete path — not for you, not for us, not over the API. The workspace owner can reverse a posted journal from it in one tap, which appends a linked compensating entry rather than erasing anything. It records AI-proposed-and-confirmed actions only; the broader Rule 11g edit log over your money records is a different, wider log that keeps running alongside it.

Signed webhooks

A per-tenant outbound webhook outbox with signed delivery — new company, expense, item or credit note, and a stock.low alert the moment a tracked item hits its reorder level — so your own systems stay in sync in real time.

A custom-fields engine, un-gated

Add your own fields — 15 types across invoices, expenses, items, payments, clients and deals — with required and regex validation, a switch to print them on the PDF or show them in the client portal, and full read/write over the API, in CSV columns and as list columns. Un-capped on every plan; no developer or TDL programmer needed.
