Finance for businesses that sell through marketplaces
Marketplace payouts are money-in your books must explain — orders, fees, returns and the TCS the operator filed on your behalf. Upload each operator's settlement file, convert the orders to GST invoices in bulk, and reconcile GSTR-8 before you file, so month-end closes from your ledger instead of from seven spreadsheets you tie out by hand.
Settlement ingestion
CSV upload is the path that works today, for every channel — Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart and JioMart. Finocket reads the header row and works out for itself whether you brought orders or a settlement, so you upload the file the operator gives you rather than reshaping it first. The Amazon (SP-API) and Flipkart API connectors are built and in beta: they pull orders, returns and settlements on a nightly schedule with TCS, commission and shipping broken out, but no seller account has run one in production yet — so treat the nightly pull as new, and keep the CSV path as the one you can rely on.
Order → GST invoice
Every ingested order converts to a proper tax invoice with the correct CGST / SGST / IGST split from the buyer's state — one click, in bulk. Your outward supplies are complete without a data-entry resource.
GSTR-8 / TCS reconciliation
The operator files GSTR-8 on your behalf; you file GSTR-1. Open the reconciliation screen, pick a month, and Finocket diffs your marketplace-derived invoices against each operator's settlement view per channel, flagging anything that differs by ₹1 or more. You run it when you are ready to file — nothing reconciles on a schedule, and nothing files or alerts on your behalf.
Payouts to books
Each payout is money-in that ties back to invoices, fees and tax in your Day Book, Outstanding and GST reports — the same books your CA files from, with a one-tap Hand-to-CA ZIP at period end.
Accounting, not selling
This is the money side of marketplace revenue: settlements into your books, invoices out, TCS reconciled. Nothing here lists a product, prices it, pushes stock to a channel or books a marketplace shipment — Finocket has stock and courier modules, but they are a different part of the product and no marketplace operations run through this page. Credentials you connect are AES-256-GCM encrypted and never stored in plaintext.
