Finocket is modular — you run only the areas you need. Your menus show only the modules you've enabled; everything else waits in the Explore modules panel at the bottom of the menu. Manage it all from Settings → Modules & features.
How do I turn a module on or off?
- Open Settings → Modules & features — the switchboard lists every module with its current state.
- Flip a module's switch. Your menus update instantly, on desktop and mobile.
- To undo experiments, tap Reset to defaults — it restores the set that matches your profile.
Core money features (dashboard, expenses, day book) are always on and can't be switched off.
Do these switches apply to my team?
Yes. They belong to the workspace rather than to you personally, so everyone you have invited — an admin, an assistant, a read-only member, your accountant — works from the set you chose here. Switch a module off and it is off for them too, on every screen and in every report; switch one on and they have it without doing anything. What your plan includes, what is still inside your trial and anything you have added on are read from this workspace as well, so a teammate working in your books is judged by what you pay for rather than by whatever they have set up themselves.
The part that stays personal: if someone on your team also runs a Finocket workspace of their own, their switches govern what they see in theirs, and yours govern what everyone sees in this one.
Where did the other menu items go?
The navigation shows only enabled modules, grouped by category — a category with nothing enabled disappears entirely, so a simple setup stays a short, clean menu. Everything you haven't enabled lives in the Explore modules panel at the bottom of the menu: each disabled module appears there with its icon and an inline Enable (or Request) button. Enable one and it moves straight up into your menu.
What do the module states and badges mean?
- Available — switch it on yourself, right now.
- Beta — self-serve too, just flagged so you know it's still settling in.
- Trial — you're using it on a time-limited trial; the badge shows on its menu row until the trial ends.
- Managed — a Finocket admin has locked this module on or off for your workspace; the switch is disabled for you.
- Custom — your workspace runs a tailored set that differs from the standard defaults.
How do I request a locked module?
- Find the module on the switchboard or in the Explore panel — it shows Request access instead of a switch.
- Tap Request access. Your request goes to the Finocket team.
- When it's approved, the module unlocks for your workspace and appears in your menu once enabled. If it's declined, you'll see the reason.
What do the defaults look like, and what does it cost?
At sign-up you pick who you are — business, freelancer/consultant, or salaried/individual — and Finocket pre-selects a matching set: a business gets the full toolkit, an individual gets a focused personal-finance set. Change any of it any time.
The books are free for solo users in India. Paid plans are running at the early-bird rate — half the list price, and the figure shown on each card on the pricing page, which is what you pay. Take it now and it stays yours for as long as you keep the plan; it is not an introductory rate that steps up at renewal. For teams and multi-country (Australia / US) setups, contact sales and we'll tailor a plan.
What does the note about my plan on the home screen mean?
Your home screen tells you when you are using something your plan does not cover, or when you are close to your limit on team seats or companies. It is there so nothing ever comes as a surprise.
Nothing is switched off. Anything you have on today stays on, and the note says so. It is a heads-up, not a change — if we ever do start applying plan limits to your workspace, you will have seen this well before it happens, and we will tell you directly first.
If you signed up while a feature was free, you keep it. Being told that a module belongs to a paid plan does not mean yours is being taken away.
Do I get a free trial, and do I have to ask for it?
You do not have to ask. Every new workspace starts a 30-day trial the moment you sign up, with every module switched on so you can see the whole product before deciding what you actually want. Your plan card shows how many days are left.
Nothing is charged during it and it never turns into a bill on its own. If you do nothing, it simply ends.
When it ends, the modules you picked stay on. The rest do not disappear from the app — they stay in your menus, greyed, one tap from being switched back on if they are part of your plan, or with the plan that carries them named if they are not. Nothing you entered is deleted, ever.
The trial runs once per workspace. Re-doing the setup steps will not restart it.
What can I buy on its own, and what does it cost?
Four modules are sold separately today, from Settings → Plan & billing → Add a single module: Inventory and Ordersat ₹249 a month each, and the developer API at ₹449. All prices are before GST, at the yearly rate; paying monthly costs a little more.
Those prices are set deliberately: an add-on costs about half the step up to the next plan. So if you find yourself wanting two of them, the plan above costs about the same and brings ten more modules with it — we would rather you noticed that than quietly paid us twice for less.
Campaigns is priced the same way but still in beta, so the button asks us rather than charging you. We would rather have a short conversation than take money for something still settling down.
Which plan carries the CRM?
Growth carries the CRM itself. Leads, a deal pipeline you move cards through, call logging and the WhatsApp templates you send from — plus email campaigns, saved audience segments and follow-up sequences, and the consent ledger and suppression list that every send is checked against. That last one is not an extra: a plan that can send has to be able to honour a stop request, so it comes down with the sending, not after it.
Business adds the depth. Accounts roll the four people you deal with at one firm into a single record, and the unified Inbox puts every email and WhatsApp thread with any of them on one timeline, alongside contact enrichment and Meta lead-ads intake. Campaign attribution — the UTM set and the source → lead → revenue funnel — is Business too.
This moved on 5 September 2026. Nothing was taken away: if you are on Business or above you already had all of it and still do. What changed is that Growth now starts with the CRM rather than reaching it by upgrading.
What is the difference between Business and Suite?
The filing allowance, and that is the honest answer. Both plans carry the same features and the same 25 people. Business includes 800 filing credits a month and Suite includes 2,000.
In practice: filing one GST registration for a month — a GSTR-1 and a GSTR-3B — costs 110 credits. So Business covers about seven registrations a month and Suite covers about eighteen. If you are a practice, or a group with several registrations, that is the number that decides which plan you want. If you have one or two registrations, Business is the right plan and Suite would be buying credits you will not use.
What happens when I pay?
The payment window opens on top of Finocket — you do not leave the app. Enter your card, UPI or netbanking details there; they go straight to our payment provider and never touch Finocket.
When you finish, the window closes and the page says “Confirming your payment” for a few seconds while our provider confirms it. That pause is normal. You do not need to pay again — if it is taking a while, stay on the page or come back to it shortly; your payment is safe either way.
Once confirmed, your plan updates on the spot and your tax invoice appears further down the same screen, with the GST shown separately.
Where is my GST tax invoice?
Two places, and you do not have to ask for it.
- It is attached to the receipt email. When a payment goes through we email you a receipt with the invoice itself attached as a PDF — the invoice number, the taxable value and the GST split, ready for your books.
- It is on your billing screen. Settings → Plan & billing lists every invoice we have issued you, newest first, with a download button on each row. A credit note appears there too, alongside the invoice it reverses, so the two net out.
The invoice is issued in our own numbered series with our GSTIN on it, and shows CGST and SGST separately when you are in our state or IGST when you are not — which is decided by the GSTIN on your workspace, so keep it up to date under Settings → Business Details.
If a receipt reaches you without the attachment, nothing is wrong with the invoice — download it from the billing screen, where it always is.
Can I add just one module without changing my plan?
Yes. Open Settings → Plan & billing and look for Add a single module. It lists the modules your plan does not already include, each with its price, and Add takes you to the payment page.
Every price there includes GST — it is what leaves your bank account, not a figure that grows at the payment page.
You keep an add-on for as long as you pay for it, whatever plan you are on. If your plan lapses, a module you bought separately stays yours; it is its own line on your bill with its own renewal date. You will not be offered a module your plan already covers, and a few modules need a quick word with us first — those show Ask us instead of a price, and nothing is charged until we have spoken.
Adding a module does not force it onto your menus. It behaves like any other module you have: you can still switch it off under Settings → Modules & features if you would rather not see it, and switch it back on whenever you like.
If a renewal payment fails, nothing disappears straight away — you keep the module through a short grace period while you fix the card, exactly like a plan.
What plan am I on, and am I being charged?
The first card in Settings answers both: your plan and any trial time left. For what you are actually paying, and to change it, open Settings → Plan & billing — that screen shows your current plan, the price including GST, your tax invoices to download, and how to stop. Under Settings → Modules & features, each area your plan does not include is marked with the plan that carries it — tap the mark to compare plans.
What is never free, on any plan, is anything with an outside cost: AI beyond the free allowance, filing a return through the GST portal, and API traffic.
If you are on a free plan, nothing is billed and nothing renews — you are only charged once you choose a plan or add a module yourself.
Which plan do I need for the modules I want?
The pricing calculator answers it without guessing. Tick the modules you will use and say how many people need a login and how many companies you run; it works out the first plan on the ladder that carries every one of your picks and fits your seats, and prices it per month and per year, before and after GST. If one pick is what pushed you up a plan, it says which. The plan it names is the same ladder this switchboard enforces, so it can never promise a module on a plan that does not carry it.
It also prices the things that are a quantity rather than a tier. A fourth person on a three-seat plan is a seat, not a bigger plan — and a seat is cheaper, so that is what the calculator quotes, with the price of moving up shown beside it so you can see both. Extra companies and extra shops work the same way: every plan includes one shop, and each further one is an add-on. Tick Retail till & shops and a shop count appears.
Two things it deliberately does not do. It never quotes a price nobody has set — the online store is an add-on whose price is still being decided, so it is named and left out of the total rather than counted as zero. And the partner code discounts the plan, not the add-ons: a seat costs the same whether or not you came in through a partner, so the saving you see is the real one.
What is a partner code, and what does it do to the price?
The prices on the pricing page are list prices. A Finocket partner — a reseller, a CA firm, a consultant — can give you a code that brings every plan to the early-bird price: half the list price, or nothing at all on Solo. Type it on the billing page before you choose a plan; every card then shows both figures and the saving.
- One code per workspace, ever. Codes cannot be stacked or reused.
- Every code expires. The date is shown when you apply it; ask your partner for a fresh one if it has passed.
- The code is checked again at the moment you pay, so a code that has since expired or been withdrawn does not go through.
- The partner receives a commission from Finocket on your subscription. That is paid by Finocket and is never added to your price — and the billing page names the partner, so you always know who is behind the discount.
