Once you accept a Shop affiliates invitation, your portal gives you everything you share with a shopper — a link, a code, and a QR that both point at the same place — and a running count of who has clicked.
Your link and your code are the same offer, two ways to share it
The link works anywhere you can paste a URL — a bio, a story, a WhatsApp message. The code works anywhere a shopper types something — the shop's own cart, or the till if they buy in person. Both are yours alone; a sale through either one is credited to you the same way.
- A click on your link is remembered for the shop's cookie window — usually 30 days — so a sale days later still counts.
- Your code works the moment it is typed, with no cookie needed, which is why it also works at a till.
- The QR is the same short link, ready to print or paste into a story.

You cannot mint your own second code — that stays a request to the shop, so every code the shop hands out is one it chose to.
