If a partner — a reseller, an affiliate, or a CA — referred you to Finocket, Settings → Your partner shows who, via what code or link, and when. If nobody referred you, this screen says so plainly; it is not broken, there is simply nothing to show.
“Referred by” at signup
If you type a partner’s code on the sign-up screen, it confirms live — “Referred by [partner name] ✓” — before you finish creating your account. Right below it is an unticked checkbox asking whether to share your business name, your name, email and mobile with that partner so they can help you get set up. Leaving it unticked is a complete, normal choice: your partner still sees masked initials, and you can change your mind either way, any time, from this screen.
What your partner can see about you
By default your partner sees only masked initials — never your real name, email or phone. If they want to reach you, the message comes through Finocket itself, using an approved template; your partner sees only that a message was sent, never its content or your address.
You can choose to share your business name, your name, email and mobile with your partner directly, so they can help you get set up faster. That choice is yours alone — flip the switch on and it takes effect immediately; flip it off and your partner reverts to seeing masked initials on their very next screen refresh. There is no delay either way.
Messages from your partner
Every message your partner sends you through Finocket is listed here, with when it arrived and on which channel. If you would rather not receive any more on a channel — email or WhatsApp — stop it from this screen. That is independent of the sharing choice above: you can keep your details masked and still choose whether messages reach you at all.
If a partner set up this workspace for you
A reseller or an implementation partner can set up a Finocket workspace on your behalf and hand it to you with a claim link. If they did, they keep a seat in your team so they can keep helping — visible on Settings → Team Members — but they can never see your bank details, your filing credentials, or approve an AI action; those stay yours alone.
You can end their access at any time from this screen, with one tap and a confirmation. Doing so does not undo anything they already helped you set up — your invoices, catalogue and settings stay exactly as they are; it only removes their ongoing seat.
